Two, Please

If just 25 people donate a measly $15 dollars each to me, I can have this, which I desperately need, by the way.

Love,
Ashlee

PS I am willing to trade original artwork for said $15. Don't pass up this opportunity to own an original and make me happy all at the same time.

Cindy Sherman Gets Jazzed!

American photog Cindy Sherman is a recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship, occasionally referred to as a "Genuis Award." Here I lend her work a little of my own genius to give it that extra edge.

Tilt Sprays of Genuis OR J.J. Would Be Jealous of Me

I have recently decided that it would also be amusing and fun to present masterworks in art to the public as Art Rage inspires me to render them. Here are some FLAGS way better than Jasper Johns could have ever imagined they could be.

Art Rage 2.5, Fully Loaded

As previously reviewed, Art Rage is a paint program that runs beautifully on Mac computers. I recently explored the full features available for the software and they are worth every penny. The airbrush tool functions much like the spray paint tool in Microsoft Paint, only better. You can toggle not only the width of the spray but also the amount of pressure applied, taper length and tilt angle. Other noteworthy features include the ability to paint with metallics, import photos, a roller tool, stencils and glitter. Fully customizable glitter, I might add.

I have been working with the program for several weeks and have made what I consider to be, the best art of my life, ever. It is thematically complex, as all good Art is and is currently being exhibited at The BLANK Review, which is linked on my blogroll. I will continue to post my artworks on that site, as well as an essay series on Francis Bacon I am working on, but I will include a few preview images here.
